Kähler strives to combine its unique history with an ambition to be the frontrunner on the ceramic arts scene, both nationally and internationally. Today, many people work hard every day to make sure that every product lives up to their high standard of quality and craftsmanship. They design, mould, paint and much more - just like they did many years ago in their small workshop in the Danish town of Næstved.
From the very beginning in 1839, the Kähler workshop in the Danish town of Næstved was an artistic playground for numerous renowned artists. Here they were given the liberty to let their imagination run free and experiment with techniques relating to ceramics and glazes, and today they are still working side-by-side with some of the most talented artists, ceramists and designers.
